Dordogne... we cannot wait to wake up to you every morning!

Updated: Apr 3

If Covid has taught us anything, it's that life is very precious - you don't know what might happen from one day to the next; from being locked down, to not being able to hug, let alone see your family. It also taught us that where we live is important, so that when we were allowed to venture out for those few precious hours, it needs to meet what we want from it...

Covid taught me that I don't want to be in among the hustle and the bustle of a busy city life, where I can't hear the birds sing, or breathe fresh air, or struggle to find somewhere interesting and exciting to walk my dogs - without having to jump in the car and add to the already polluted air.

it is, with the absolutely greatest of pleasure that my boys and I are moving to the south of France to make it our forever home! We arrive mid- April and cannot wait to start our new lives there... While my boys (2 Border Collies!) have no idea what it is I'm getting so excited about when I tell them about the wonderful greenery that awaits us, and the beautiful dordogne river, the quaint little villages and the huge garden that is about to become theirs, they know something is going on ..

So, my lovely Nouvelle Aquitaine neighbours, myself, Ty and Sam very much look forward to meeting you very soon and embarking on our wonderful new French life!
